The Host: Finished!
posted on May 8th, 2008 by BellaMarius in The Host
I finally finished The Host last night. As I had mentioned before, it took awhile for me to really get into it, because I am not a big fan of the more sci-fi books. However, it finally grabbed my attention, even if I felt that it was a bit slow in the beginning.
Spoiler: show
I think Stephanie did a pretty good job with her first adult novel. I was a little confused about a couple of the twists, but overall, it was a decent read.

I picked up a copy of The Host last night. I am about a third of the way through it, and I’m really getting into the story. It’s didn’t grab my attention as quickly as Twilight did, I think because it started out more sci-fi than I generally enjoy. By the third chapter, however, I was pretty well sucked in.
We will see how the rest of the book goes.
